My name is Casey and I graduated from the Southern School of Natural Therapies where I attained a Bachelor in Health Science, Nutritional Medicine. I am a clinical nutritionist and an accredited member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society.
There is no doubt that my interest in food developed at a young age. As a child I loved visiting my grandparents house because the garden was always flourishing with fresh fruit and vegetables from the veggie patch. Nothing brought me more joy than being out in the garden with my grandparents and picking fruit and vegetables that were ripe and ready to eat.
Fast forward to my late teenage years, I learnt to appreciate that there is more to health than just good nutrition. Whether it be walking in nature, or swimming in the ocean, or focusing on self-care by doing activities i love, I soon realised that there are so many aspects to our overall wellbeing, which lead me to study Nutritional Medicine, an holistic approach to health.
I have a love and passion for all things whole food. I believe that the Food as Medicine approach is so powerful and an essential part of our overall health and wellbeing. My knowledge in evidence-based medicine along with functional pathology testing and holistic approach to health is used in combination to develop individualised treatment plans to each patient.
My goal as a clinical nutritionist is to work along side clients and to develop goals together that will assist in improving overall health and wellbeing, and to guide clients on their new wellness journey. This is achieved through an integrative approach to healthcare, along with evidence-based nutritional medicine.
Specific areas of interest include:

To ensure clients get the most out of their consultations, screening, diagnostic testing and functional pathology testing is used to scientifically assess clients current health status and to guide a treatment approach to achieve specific health outcomes.
